Alex Vigderman provides an overview on which teams lost the most and least value to injury so far in the 2025 season.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the 49ers have been impacted the most by injuries in 2025, having lost 156 Total Points (calculated by taking each injured player’s Total Points per game over his previous 17 games and multiplying by the number of games missed due to injury). It is impressive to say the least that they still sport a 9-4 record.
On the other hand, the four other teams in the top five most impacted (the Cardinals, Bengals, Commanders, and Dolphins) have not fared so well this season, having a 15-33 combined record so far and showing just how devastating injuries can be.
To drive the point home even further, the Patriots, Rams, Browns, Eagles, and Broncos have been the five least impacted teams so far and carry a combined 41-20 record. Just outside these five are the Seahawks and they sit at 9-3.

Winning The Old-Fashioned Way In The NBA
Eli Cohen takes a scan of the association at large and breaks down how the Lakers, Rockets, Raptors, and Nuggets are producing high-powered offense and racking up wins even though all of these teams rank in the bottom-10 in three point attempts.
As the title suggests, these teams are winning in ways that may feel archaic compared to the “modern” NBA, where three pointers are attempted often and with aplomb.
For instance, the Nuggets and Rockets are 1st and 2nd respectively in field goal attempts out of the post and they are both extremely efficient on these shots, in part due to the brilliance of big man maestros Nikola Jokic and Alperen Sengun.
Another battleground that is being dominated by these teams is in the midrange. The Lakers, Nuggets, and Raptors rank 1st, 3rd, and 5th respectively in true shooting percentage in this area. As others prioritize taking away the rim and the three, these teams are taking advantage.
