Reviewing our 2023 NFL Draft Grades

Now that the 2026 NFL Draft is completed and we have hit a slow period in the NFL calendar, we wanted to look back at how we did grading players from the 2023 Draft! At SIS, we believe that it takes at least three years to truly evaluate a draft class and is the same time that teams have to decide to pick up a player’s fifth year option.
Using Total Points, we have developed a system to evaluate each draft class relative to position. These are the top 5 teams that have reaped the most production out of the 2023 class thus far:

C.J. Stroud and Will Anderson Jr. have been the cornerstones for the Texans over the past three seasons and have produced at an extremely high level. Bijan Robinson has also been one of the best running backs in the league.

The NFL Draft Website has scouting reports for more than 400 of the top players. With that, we’ve got ratings and rankings. It’s basically everything a GM would want to know.
Our statistical information package includes Total Points, our proprietary metric that values everything that happens on the field, as well as position-specific performance data in the form of raw totals, averages, and percentile rankings. And we explain our stats in our glossary.
And check out our NFL Draft Matrix, where you can see all our rankings at a glance …
